  • The initial appointment involves a detailed assessment to understand your particular concerns, your history/background, therapy needs, and therapy goals in order to develop an appropriate plan for treatment. My objective is to help you feel comfortable and safe to talk openly about your concerns.

  • The initial psychological consultation appointment will last approximately 60-90 minutes. During this visit, a  clinical interview and thorough psychological history will be conducted to better understand your presenting concerns and goals for therapy. Subsequent sessions will be 50-minutes in length and scheduled on a weekly basis to build rapport and trust in the therapeutic relationship and maintain the momentum of therapy.

  • As a Registered Psychologist, I do not prescribe medication. I am fully respectful of an individual’s decision to use or not to use medication and I am happy to work collaboratively with Family Physicians and Psychiatrists in this regard.

  • Psychological Services are not covered by OHIP. However, many employment-related insurance or extended health care benefit plans offer full or partial coverage for services provided by Registered Psychologists. Consult your insurance provider for coverage details.
