Fees for Psychological Services

Psychological Services are not covered by OHIP. However, many employment-related insurance or extended health care benefit plans offer full or partial coverage for services provided by Registered Psychologists. My fees are consistent with the current fees set forth by the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA) and may be revised each year, effective January 1st.

If you do not have coverage, you may claim part of the fees you pay to a Registered Psychologist as a Health Expense Deduction on your income tax return.

Payment is to be made at the end of each appointment. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or electronic transfer. A receipt will be issued to you so that you may use it to claim an insurance reimbursement or as an income tax deduction.

There is no fee for initial telephone inquiries.

Cancelled or Missed Appointments

The full hourly fee will be charged if you miss a scheduled appointment or cancel an appointment with less than 2 business days’ notice.
